A downloadable game for macOS and Linux

A game heavily inspired by Tetris featuring single player mode, co-op mode and a versus mode.  Play with friends on the same machine or challenge yourself and go alone. There's also something for competitive players!

Controls

  • A/D/left/right - move tetromino left/right
  • W/up - rotate tetromino
  • S/down - drop tetromino by one tile
  • space/enter - send tetromino down
  • esc - pause the game

All of the code is publicly available in Github and licensed under MIT license.

Install instructions

Install the .zip/.tar.gz file, unzip it and run the executable. Library files and assets folder must be in the same directory in which the executable is run.

NOTE FOR MAC:

You must run the game through the terminal. Running the app through Finder will result in errors. You can run it with `./blockPlacer`.
